Every team is ranked 1–48 by offensive strength. The Turf Score is √rank × 0.5 + 0.5. Better offenses get lower Turf Scores, underdogs get higher ones — but the curve is compressed so top teams are still worth picking. Your points = goals scored × Turf Score.
